Once upon a time when I was 18years old I went to a bookshop and I was still a born Again at that time , but I saw your witches bible there and bought it. My reason was two fold, one was the nudity was a turn on, I was a horney 18 year old in the 70's and the second to prove that the Assemblies of God was just another form of witchcraft. Many years later in the year 1990 I discovered a cultural group for american Indian stuff, and there began my path to search, and I began to learn dream interpretation. In 1995 I had an encounter with subterrainian lifeforms as I was out of body and they were dressed in the most beautiful garments...two males and two males. My spirit friend was with me (female). These beings examined me, but I have no recall of the proceedure, and at the end My spirit friend informed me that they chose me. As I was following them, they went into the ground again and I would of followed them down into the earth, but the way was blocked by my friend who blocked the access to their world. The previous day I saw a UFO in broad daylight and it hovered over the doctors surgury at which I waited outside. From that day I started to learn about faery, and nature spirits; I learned how to communicate with plants and animals and birds and other lifeforms that otherwise would be impossible to an ordinary person. I was taken thru time and shown the future of our planet (see link the green text is mine: http://witches.meetup... Eventually I was shown a past life thru my Out of Body state, wherein I was a witch in 1098 AD and I was a female and doing something with herbs. In a later time 1350's I saw I was a king of some sort and there was war and we were in both dreams in Europe. So then I have a question, If a person was a witch and reincarnates, are they still a witch, and do they need to be freshly re-initiated as a beginner? or do they merely re-dedicate themselves to what they have always been and will always be? I also discovered that in the process of contact with these beings I became a Super psychic (refer to link for clarification: http://wiccan.meetup.... Grader" <antarctica.polar.research@gmail.com> date Aug 8, 2007 9:33 PM subject Hi Griz, Ok. Our perspective. We've met 'newbies' who just have it who we have considered witches right from the moment we've met them. We've also met 3rd degrees who have no idea what they are doing and have no abilities whatsoever - they always seem to be the ones that are hung up on lineage and not accepting others (strange that!). We've learnt to judge people on what they do and not on what they claim to be. A well known 'traditional' witch in England, Mike Howard talks about 'witch blood' i.e. family blood or reincarnation. We hold with his view - we're watching an incredibly talented younger generation come up who don't have the training nor do they have any form of initiation, but they are most definetly witches. Whether they are initiated or not is irrelevant as they will still be able to do what they can do! The who issue of 'initiation' is really only relevant to Gardnerian and Alexandrian and those who derive from them. We feel that REAL initiation comes from the divine -from your god or goddess whatever form they take. That is not to say that we don't believe in initiation as a passage rites into groups, but degrees and titles really don't hold any sway outside of a group structure as each coven is or should be autonomous in it's training and practises. Some people, do require initiation from another person though. This is really just to help them trigger the innate gifts they have buried inside them. So, in a truly pagan way, there is not one correct answer to your question. The danger here is dogma - individuals claiming there is only 'one way' - sounds monothiestic rather than polytheistic to us. Hope this answers your questions rather than befuddling you!
