About Believers Against The War

Meet other Evangelical Christians who are opposed to unjust, unconstitutional wars. We can find solace in our disappointment with our pro-war Christian friends. We can also openly pray for peace - something our evangelical churches are hesitant to do. We're not quite your average anti-war person, because we're born again Christians who are pro-life, but anti-unjust wars. There's not too many of us. But we are growing in number because people are finally figuring it out.

The Lord commands us to seek peace with our neighbors. He said, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." Colossians 3:15. We know it is wrong to hurt someone who has not hurt us. Yet, why are our Christian brothers and sisters supporting this aggressive war? Why aren't they praying for an end to this war? Why are they not as mad as we are about the trillion of dollars spent on the war? Don't they care this war is bankrupting America - both physically and spiritually? Do they care that all this war-mongering is turning non-believers away from Christianity?

Soon, we'll have a new president, and no telling if he/she will end the war. And, of course, there could be more wars in more countries. We must bind together to speak out against this festering wound on America's soul. We must stop this war-mongering, and return to seeking peace with all nations, non-intervention.
